We’re excited to share the launch of our new animated short created for Century Games, set in the chilly world of their hit game, Whiteout Survival. This marks the first in what will be an ongoing creative collaboration — and it’s been a truly rewarding experience from pitch to final frame.
From day one, our team at M2 Animation was inspired by the storytelling potential within the Whiteout Survival storyworld and it’s characters. We pitched the concept, developed the narrative arc, and handled the full production pipeline — delivering an animated short designed to work in both landscape and portrait formats that expands the game’s universe while staying true to the core themes of the IP.
This project gave us the chance to collaborate with Century Games and explore the blending of animated storytelling with game IP, creating something that feels both fresh and authentic to fans. It’s a space we’re passionate about growing in — where gameplay meets narrative, and where our teams’ animation expertise helps unlock new dimensions of a game’s world.
We’re already looking ahead to future chapters in this storyworld and to new collaborations with developers and publishers who want to expand their IP through high-quality animation. There’s so much potential in this kind of storytelling — and we’re just getting started!
