ProbablyMonsters
M2 Animation partnered with ProbablyMonsters to create three cinematic sequences for Ire: A Prologue—a first-person horror experience inspired by 1980s cinema.
From the beginning, our cinematic team was integrated directly into the development pipeline. Working in real time with in-game assets, we ensured narrative and visual consistency as the game evolved. This seamless collaboration allowed for rapid iteration and a unified creative direction across both gameplay and cinematics.
Our work included: - Live Asset Integration - Custom motion capture and staging - FX in Unreal Engine and Houdini - Atmospheric cinematic lighting
This project exemplifies the impact of real-time storytelling when cinematic and game teams collaborate from day one.
This wasn’t about post-production—it was about co-creation in real time.
